In September 2025 we have a vision of salvationists gathering together from across our four nations to connect across cultures and generations in a way that reflects who we are today and who we hope to be tomorrow. We’ll see one another, gain strength from one another, and experience abundant life with one another. And we’ll also discover new ways to impact our communities as we go out again to live, work and serve together with the people in those communities.

This Congress is not going to be a series of all the same old events: Together Congress 2025 is a chance to rediscover that we are a people of a living, embodied faith; a people who experience and who offer deep hope; and a people who love and are loved – together.

Congress FAQs
What are the times for Together Congress 2025?

Friday 26 September: First Together session – 6.30pm (leaders conference during the day 9am – 3pm)

Saturday 27 September: Day kicks off at 9.30am and wraps up 9pm (with some informal gathering options before and after for those early risers and late-nighters!)

Sunday 28 September: Day kicks off 10am and has an open-ended picnic option post-session, yum!

Each day will have other options for gathering, connecting and serving – we’re looking forward to sharing more with you soon!

Who is the event for?

Everyone is welcome – the event is for anyone connected to The Salvation Army in New Zealand, Fiji, Tonga and Samoa, as well as any family, friends and neighbours that you would love to invite. This includes our incredible children and young people – there will be a kids’ stream happening across parts of the weekend, and moments for young people to gather! There will also be ways to connect online if you can’t travel to the venue. It will be so good for all ages and places to connect together after so long!

Who are the guests for the weekend?

Our guests are our international leaders The General and World President of Women’s Ministries – General Lyndon Buckingham and Commissioner Bronwyn Buckingham. They are joining us in celebrating all that God is doing through The Salvation Army, sharing their heart and connecting with new and old friends (they are kiwi!).

When will I know more info?

More information and the full event schedule will be available in the first few months of 2025. The times and dates will stay as advertised – start looking at travel and accommodation options now. Keep an eye out in the new year for more info and plan to be there – we can’t wait to be together again!

Seen Heard Included

Music and Discipleship

The Salvation Army is making a bold commitment to have young people participate and take the lead in significant parts of Congress – one of these opportunities is during the sung worship!

Our sung worship moments at Congress are always significant and Spirit-led and we are praying the same for 2025!

As part of this commitment, the kids’ stream music team and auditorium sessions’ music team will be made up of young people and adult mentors.

And we want you to apply to be part of this!
